200 backers! The entire MBG team has been overwhelmed by the rising support you have shown for Revolutionaries. Thanks to you all, we have now reached our backer milestone and I am pleased to announce all physical reward tiers will receive a print copy of Book IV: The Culper Codex!

Furthermore, the continental poster map (approximately 21"x18" and printed on quality paper) previewed in the last update has now been unlocked as an optional add-on for your Revolutionaries sets, and at a cost of only $10!

Today we have two exciting pieces of news for the campaign. First, all Revolutionaries reward tiers will now receive a complete e-book set of skirmish rules adapted from John Senner’s Brigandine. Bring some of the greatest campaigns of the war to your tabletop. Work behind the scenes to undermine the enemy and then take command of your forces to rain justice upon the servants of tyranny. 431

Also, at the conclusion of the campaign our friends at Eureka Miniatures have generously offered free shipping to our backers on their War of Independence ranges. These crisp miniatures will be the perfect addition to any Revolutionaries game!

With the shadow of tyranny looming overhead, knowing that we stand united in the pursuit of liberty and justice is comforting. The war continues and this week our forces have been bolstered by a number of new allies. We have also seen some fantastic coverage of Revolutionaries on a number of news sites and podcasts. Thank you for spreading the word. We have nearly reached our Culper Codex unlock!

In addition, once we pass the 200 backer mark we are unlocking a continental poster map as an Add-on for the campaign. Approximately 21"x18" in size, this map is the perfect addition to your Revolutionaries box sets and will only cost $10!

“Just wanted to know if we can use Revolutionaries for our I Am Zombie campaign?”

Absolutely! All of our Axiom games are interchangeable. If Zombies are your thing, then I AM ZOMBIE and TOXICITY could certainly lead to some interesting developments in the war. Both are available in select reward tiers and as Add-ons.

“I’m a big fan of Owen K.C. Stephens & Matt Forbeck. What can you tell me about the Culper Missions?”

So am I! They are both amazing designers and we are very lucky to have them as stretch-goal writers for this campaign. The Culper Mission expansions each feature an operation vital to the patriot cause and contain new setting material, and secrets. Matt and Owen have some great plots up their sleeves, however Headquarters may have my head in a noose if I let anything slip.

“Can I play a loyalist?”

You certainly can! You can play a group of loyalists, British Regulars or even a mixed group of patriots and Tories. The possibilities are endless. Should we manage to reach our King & Country stretch-goal, we will include an entire British campaign!

After our first full day, we have hit 100 backers for Revolutionaries and are progressing steadily towards our funding target. Great work, everybody!

This means we are also half-way towards our 200-backer bonus unlock! Thank you to everyone for saddling up their horses and taking their midnight rides to help spread the word.

We look forward to adding some really great expansions to the Revolutionaries boxed set. One of my personal favorite upcoming stretch goals is a beautiful colonial poster map of America. With your help, that has the potential to be upgraded to a luxurious cloth map!

We are blessed to have some amazing and talented guest writers and artists involved in this campaign. Our Culper Mission expansions, for example, are shaping up to be great. The first two will be written by award-winning designers Owen K.C. Stephens and Matt Forbeck! And we’re also pleased to announce that we have the dazzling cartography skills of Alyssa Faden lined up for a campaign city map, should funding take us there.

And that is just a taste of the exciting things we have in store for this campaign!

The Revolutionaries campaign is nearing 50% of its funding goal after just two days! We are on track, thanks to you. As we are closing in upon our 200-backer milestone, I am happy to now reveal the bonus unlock about which we’ve been hinting. Once we pass this milestone, we are going to include a printed copy of Book IV: The Culper Codex to all physical Revolutionaries reward tiers!
